Professor Tak-Wah Wong MD, PhD works in the Departments of Dermatology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Center of Applied Nanomedicine at National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan. He leads a skin cancer team in the University Hospital. He dedicates his research to photobiology, oncology, infectious diseases, wound healing, and abnormal scarring. He is the pioneer of photodynamic therapy (PDT) in Taiwan and had spent 2 years in the team led by Professor Thomas Dougherty and Dr. Allan Oseroff at the PDT Center, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, NY, USA. He also spent nearly a year (2016) as a visiting scientist at Tung-Tien Sun's lab at the Department of Cell Biology, New York University Grossman School of Medicine.
王德華醫師是臺灣台南國立成功大學皮膚科、生物化學和分子生物學系、應用納米醫學中心教授。他在大學醫院領導一個皮膚癌團隊。他的研究致力於光生物學、腫瘤學、傳染病、傷口癒合和異常疤痕。他是臺灣光動力療法（PDT）的先驅，曾在美國紐約羅斯威爾癌症研究所PDT中心的Thomas Dougherty教授和Allan Oseroff博士領導的團隊中工作了2年。他還在紐約大學格羅斯曼醫學院細胞生物學系的孫同天實驗室擔任了近一年（2016年）的訪問科學家。
