Extramammary Paget’s disease (EMPD) is a rare skin cancer that most often appears around the genitalia, groin and perianal regions in women and men. It can also appear elsewhere in the body. EMPD can look innocuous and is often ignored. However, early diagnosis helps tremendously with the treatment of the disease. If you suspect you might have EMPD, see your doctor.
